Armed Robbers attack Government Car carrying Huge Cash In Akwa Ibom

Reports from Akwa Ibom state have it that heavily armed robbers went on rampage few hours ago as they pursued and intercepted a vehicle with government plate number at Paul Bassey street by brooks street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom capital.

The armed men targeted the car which was conveying a huge amount of money.

The attack took place at a distance just two minutes to the Akwa Ibom divisional Police Station and three minutes to the Government House. No life was lost.

The hoodlums who riddled the vehicle with bullets and forced it open, carted away an undisclosed amount of money, after exchanging gun fire with a police officer.
