Finally, LAUTECH Lecturers Suspend Strike After 4 Months

The Academic Staff Union of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso has suspends its industrial action. Consequently, lecture will commence on Monday 23rd October.

The decision to put the strike on hold was reached at the congress held today at the Mani campus of the institution in Ogbomoso.

Details of the meeting is still scanty as at press time but it was learnt that the lecturers agreed to return to class base on assurance from the management and the governing council that their salary arrears and other issues that led to the strike will be resolved.

The lecturers embarked on strike since April, shortly after the end of first semester examination.
