Armed robbers, cultists escape from police custody in Bayelsa

Nigerian Police operatives have launched a massive man hunt for suspected criminals who reportedly escaped from the the custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state.

About 10 of the notorious criminals and cultists escaped from custody.

It was gathered that the police were said to be combing all the nooks and crannies of the state capital to rearrest the suspected daredevil criminals.

Some said the fleeing number was 10, security sources said the police were still trying to determine the figure. Howeber, one of them had been rearrested by the police.
