My Madam Locks Me Up Whenever She Travels, says rescued househelp

Photos of a 13-year-old female home help who was reportedly rescued by the police after being abused by her boss are going viral online.

According to reports, 13-year-old Nkechi Oseh was locked up by her boss, one Betty Ifeoma, a staff of NNPC at their residence, Adeniran Ajao Estate Anthony, Lagos while she travelled out of the country, leaving her with two packets of cabin biscuits.

Nkechi told her rescuers, Lagos Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal and his team that she is an orphan and whenever her boss travels and locks her in, she resorts to drinking water from the toilet.

According to her, she has been locked up at four different times since her uncle brought her from Igboju in Delta state.

“I've been locked up for two weeks, one-week and three-weeks at different times when she travelled to London and since she travelled on Saturday, I have been crying before God helped me today,” she was quoted as saying.

Nkechi is reported to currently be under the care of the child protection unit of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development Lagos State.
